Chocolate Table Challenge @Google @gsoc

Google Summer Of Code is an excellent opportunity for students to gain experience and contribute to open source projects. For mentors it is a golden opportunity to mentor …. I have been fortunate enough to be part of GSOC from R — both years with TensorFlow and R.
- The first attempt was the deeplearnR package we had developed as a part of our Stanford Data Mining Graduate certificate, Stat 290: Paradigms for Computing with Data.
- Next we proposed a project to interface Keras and R. Interestingly, after our proposal, R Studio released a Keras-R package
- So finally our project morphed into interfacing R with Tensorflow using the C++ interface — an excellent scalable solution !
The Chocolate table is the most yummy part of the Summit !
My pictures from last year — I will post pictures from this year later …
1st — A birds eye view of the table
2nd — A few good ground rules !
And now, a more detailed view from multiple angles
A table of stickers …
And finally, our Halloween Chocolate Table inspired by the Google Chocolate Zone (we only gave dark chocolates — at least the kids ( … and the parents!) will eat better …)
